Flower Power: The ultimate gourmet mix for the classiest of horses! This blend smells so fantastic it could serve as a poutpourri for the barn. Completely pesticide-free, pink and red rose petals, marigold flowers, chamomile flower buds and a sprinkling of red clover blossoms throughout a trail mix base of specially selected low sugar and low starch orchard grass and timothy hay pellets. Parsley flakes, raw organic peanuts, kudzu root, certified organic peppermint leaves, spearmint leaves and a delicious dusting of pink cranberry powder. Minty Rose Brownies

Bake at Home Mix or Pre-Baked Brownies

This is a thick, rich treat featuring sweet, deeply steeped rosehip tea, fresh peppermint and wholesome flax.

It's crispy on top. Yet chewy in the middle. It's dark brown with a sprinkle of the ultimate, gourmet topping -- lemon peel. One of our equine taste testers reportedly lost his cool over this new treat and tried to eat the empty bag after devouring its contents. Apparently the bag still smelled so good from the brownies, he couldn't contain himself. Embarrassed, his human caretaker wrote to Skode and asked if Skode had put anything illegal in the brownies. "It's like horsey crack!" she said.

We promise there are no illegal substances in the brownies. However we do admit that they contain a few ingredients over which your horse may very likely loose his mind. They are made from organic rosehip tea, organic peppermint, and they look like brownies with the walnuts on top! Only the "walnuts" are lemon peel!

Skode's delicious Nutty Seed cookies smell so terrific your horse is likely to have an outer body experience while eating these cookies. Plus, they'll soak up liquid medication, as well as hide medications like pergolide capsules for Cushings horses. Tests in at a combined sugar and starch level of only 5.4 percent. Where else can you find a cookie this wholesome, healthy and fresh?

Each one-pound bag contains 33 to 35 cookies. They're baked by hand so the number and size will vary! Yummm!

Things to note when purchasing Nutty Seed Cookies:

1) They are are baked on Mondays and mailed Tuesday or Wednesday. If we are completely inundated with orders, delivery dates may be delayed further. We do our best to be quick, but these puppies are POPULAR!. (Yes, we're looking into buying more ovens...)

2) These cookies need to be refrigerated as soon as they are delivered -- not just when they are opened. Nutty Seed cookies are made from all natural ingredients and have a limited shelf life, and Skode's has no control over what they are exposed to during shipping, which is why they are only shipped Priority Mail. Under ideal circumstances (which, again, are not under Skode's control), expected shelf life for home-made Nutty Seed Cookies is one week if left in a cool, dry place; Three to four weeks if refrigerated.
